Toyin in an interview with Vanessa Obioha, spoke about her spiritual gifts, alongside other milestones.

The actress explained that it took the spiritual intervention of a cleric to resurrect her after her parents threw her away after birth because she was stillborn.

She said: โ€œOne of the problems I encountered back then was because I didnโ€™t listen to myself. Iโ€™m extremely spiritual. I do hear the voice of the Lord and also see it in my dreams, but I would want to follow my flesh.

โ€But ever since I began to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit, things drastically changed for me. Since birth, I have been spiritual because Iโ€™m actually a dada โ€“ those people that naturally have dreadlocks from birth.

โ€Then there was a clergyman from Ibadan in Oyo State, who visited the hospital and asked about me, and I was brought back to life. I was told that I never did anything or cried until the moment they named me Oluwatoyin on the day of my naming ceremony, that I started to cry as a baby.

Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has opened up on the strange circumstances that surrounded her birth 40 years ago.

The thespian, in a recent interview with This Day, recounted how her mother gave birth to her as a stillborn and disposed her remains in the hospital.

However, a clergyman from Ibadan, who came to visit her mother in the health facility, requested to see the baby (her) and โ€œbrought her back to lifeโ€.


The mother of one said she also didnโ€™t cry until the day of her naming ceremony, and that she cried for the first time after she was christened โ€˜Oluwatoyinโ€™.

Toyin, who would have died at birth save for the intervention of the clergyman, is now a renowned actress, film maker, and a force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Speaking in the interview, the 40-year-old movie star said,

Nigerian actress/filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has stated that she loves Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential flagbearer of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC and might vote for him in the upcoming polls.

Seun Egbegbe who recently released from prison and the ex-lover of popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham during an interview issued stern warning to Journalists as well as media outfits who keep asking him about the actress.

Seun Egbegbe while on the show โ€œLagboOsereโ€ revealed that he wonโ€™t grant any interview if heโ€™s been asked such question.

This reaction from Seun Egbegbe comes after viewers of the show โ€œLagboOsereโ€ keep on asking him about the cause of the separation involving him and Toyin Abraham.

Gistlover reported that Seun Egbegbe born Olajide Kareem was released from jail on October 12, after spending five years and eight months in detention.

He was accused of scamming no fewer than 30 bureau de change operators in Lagos of various sums both in local and foreign currencies between 2015 and 2017.

Seasoned Nollywood actor, Kolawole Ajeyemi filmmaker and businessman, has revealed that he would never stop acting or directing movies as newly married man to his colleague, Toyin Abraham.

The actor says directing is more like an expression of his artistic talent and starting a family with Abraham wonโ€™t reduce his productivity as he is set to release new projects.

Speaking during a recent interaction, Ajeyemi said, โ€œPeople feel maybe because I have started a family and welcomed a lovely son with my wife, Toyin, will stop me from acting or directing but Iโ€™m sorry to burst your bubble but having a family will not slow down my directing productivity in any way but only boost my creative thinking.
I have been directing movies since the year 2010 and that is because I see directing as an expansion of my artistic talent not a different aspect of the art.
I love my family and I love my work. My wife understands that because sheโ€™s also into the same industry so we have both learned how to balance family and work.
I really canโ€™t wait for everyone to see what my team and I have put together, it will completely blow your mindsโ€.

Popular controversial actress, Toyin Abraham has finally broken her silence since Lizzy Anjorinโ€™s wedding. In the video the mother of one shared on her Instagram page, she mentioned that people should learn to forgive.

From what Toyin said in the video, it can be deduced that the 37 year old was obviously tired of the feud between herself and Lizzy Anjorin.

According to Toyin, it is only witched that do not have the spirit of forgiveness. She however implored her fans to pick their phone and put a call through to whoever they have dispute with.

The award-winning movie star brought the revelation to light when she featured on โ€˜Your Viewโ€™, a TVC programme, as tracked by the NobleReporters on Friday.

Speaking on the show, Abraham said she would not have been able to help people as she is presently doing during the COVID-19 lockdown, if it was five years ago.

โ€œIf this (referring to the COVID-19 lockdown) had happened five years ago, I wouldnโ€™t have been able to give because I was not making money then. I just started making money three or four years ago,โ€ she said.

According to her, the novel disease has taken a huge toll on countries across the globe, adding that people are only thinking about survival now.

โ€œThere is nothing that matters now except how to survive. After this coronavirus, if people donโ€™t change, then they have a problem. My car and that of my husband have been parked for days now, thereโ€™s nothing like competition again,โ€ she added.

She went on to reveal measures being put in place to ensure that those who benefit from her giveaways online are people in need.

โ€œBefore I give people money, I check their social media accounts to know when they came into into existence,โ€ she said.

The 34-year-old actress also narrated how her marriage to Kolawole Ajeyemi, fellow movie star, and her motherhood experience have changed her life.

โ€œIt (referring to motherhood) is a new experience and itโ€™s has really changed me. I can tell anybody now that I am a woman coupled with the fact that I married to a good man. My name now is mummy Ire. Motherhood has changed my life,โ€ she added.

Abraham made headlines recently after some reports suggested she was an ambassador for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on the coronavirus pandemic, after she had appeared in a video sensitising people on COVID-19.

I am thankful and ecstatic all at once and I am using myself as a point of contact for everybody looking for the fruit of the womb. Your wish will be granted in Jesus name. …after court ordered Maryam Sanda to die by hanging

Nollywood Actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has advised women to leave any toxic relationship they might be in now before it becomes too late.

Toyin felt impelled to give the advice following the death by hanging sentence an Abuja court handed Maryam Sanda who stabbed her husband, Bilyaminu Bello, to death after an argument in their home in Abuja in November 2017.

Posting a video of Maryam and Bilyaminu looking happy on their wedding day, Toyin who said she had been weeping since the verdict was handed, advised people to leave relationships when it is not working.

Ever since star actress, Toyin Abraham, announced on her Instagram page that there would be a sequel her popular movie, โ€˜Alakada Reloadedโ€™, the Internet has been โ€˜on fireโ€™. Right from the time she began shooting the movie, the actress has played host to different entertainers, including music artistes.

Some of the top music acts that have had parts in the movie include Davido, Cobhams Asuquo, and Peruzzi. Other entertainers that have been with the mother of one are BBN 2019 winner, Mercy Eke, Broda Shaggi, Anto Lecky, among others.

It seems the new mother is bringing a twist to the movie industry by trying new hands.

The first installment of the โ€˜Alakadaโ€™ movie series was released in 2009. In 2013 and 2017 respectively, she released the second and third installments respectively.

Titled, โ€˜Fate of Alakada: The Party Plannerโ€™, Abraham revealed that the fourth part of the series would be in cinemas in April.

Winner of Big Brother Naija, Pepper Dem gang, Mercy Eke, will make her Nollywood debut in `Fate of Alakadaโ€™, a movie produce by Nigerian actress, Toyin Abraham.

The Nollywood actress, Abraham announced this in her Instagram page, @ toyin_abraham, appreciating Eke for coming onset.

The movie is set to premier on cinemas on April 10.

Meanwhile, many of their fans have shown their interest in watching the video as soon as it hits the cinemas.

Nollywood Actress Toyin Abraham has taken to her Instagram page to celebrate her hubby and father of her son, Ire, Kolawole Ajeyemi, who turned a year older today January 17th, describing him the one God used to cover her nakedness.

Toyin shared a post on her Instagram page, praying for Kola in Yoruba language as well as declaring her unending love for him.

In her post, Toyin wrote โ€œIwo ni eledumare fi se aso bo ihoho miโ€ which translates to โ€you are the one God used to cover my nakednessโ€.
