After last night’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, fans were left wondering a few things, including what the future holds for Jey Uso in The Bloodline.
Today in a post on his Instagram account, Jey confirmed that he is out of The Bloodline. Jey simply wrote, “I’m out” with a red tear drop and an image of him in the ring just before he left the ring after the rest of The Bloodline brutally beat on Sami Zayn. Jey has been backing Sami in recent weeks and last night he made it clear that he was not on board with everything that went on after the match with Sami.
As WrestlingNews.co first reported, the plan is for Sami Zayn to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber PLE in Montreal.
It looks like The Bloodline could be adding another member to the family.
Fightful reports that as recently as this week, there have been serious talks about NXT star Solo Sikoa joining the main roster. Sikoa is the younger brother of Jimmy and Jey Uso.
Fightful adds that there is no confirmation of what brand Sikoa will land on but since Jimmy and Jey are the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champions, they are technically on both brands. There had been talks in the past about Sikoa skipping NXT and going straight to the main roster.
WrestlingNews.co reported in late 2020 about plans to bring in additional members into The Bloodline but they have held off on adding anyone up to this point. At one point, they teased adding Apollo Crews to the group.
Sikoa recently said the following during an interview with BT Sport: “You know, at the end of the day man, it’s so easy to go back to, ‘I’m their brother, I’m their family.’ I don’t want to be referred to as their brother, their cousin, I want people to recognize me for me. Before I debuted on TV, WWE creative was like ‘we’ll put you with your brothers’. Then the next meeting was like ‘let’s see what you can do on your own.’I felt like ‘this is my time now. This is the time for fans to recognize me as Solo instead of your Jimmy and Jey.’ Before man, I had black hair, we all really did look alike. Again, nine months later, people know oh that’s Solo, that ain’t Jimmy and Jey.”
There was a lot of speculation on Sunday after Roman Reigns’ comments at the live event in Trenton about the new phase of his life.
Reigns has talked about wanting to make the transition to Hollywood and Nick Khan has stated that WWE would be helping with the process. The comments made by Reigns on Saturday night led some to speculate that he would be leaving the company soon.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Reigns is not leaving WWE but he has signed a new deal that essentially gives him a schedule similar to Brock Lesnar, where he only wrestles on a few shows per year.
“This is not it for him but the situation is that he got a new deal and the new deal is for far less dates,” Meltzer said. “I don’t know how many house shows he’s gonna be doing but it will be much less than the number that he’s doing now. It’s one of the perks of being there for a while and being valuable there is you can kind of call certain shots and he’s got the power to maintain the championship and work fewer dates [like] Brock Lesnar has and Hulk Hogan used to have. He’s gonna be in a new phase of his life. He’s got young kids and everything like that, in his mid to late 30s. He probably wants to preserve his body a little bit more.”
Meltzer noted that Reigns only worked a couple of shows on the recent UK tour and he didn’t go on the prior tour because he didn’t want to be away from his family. Meltzer added that Reigns will go for a couple of days on an overseas tour but he won’t be away from home for two weeks straight
Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro lost to The Bloodline (The Usos and Roman Reigns) in the main event of Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania Backlash.
Reigns took to his Instagram account to discuss the win and teased whether this was the last six-man tag team match featuring The Bloodline the fans will ever see.
The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion also followed up on a promo from Saturday’s live event where he talked about going into the next phase in his life. Many took that as him going to Hollywood, but in reality, it’s due to him signing a new WWE deal with a reduced schedule.

“What’s in my brain already..what if that is the last six-man tag you ever see The Bloodline do? I believe when it comes to TV and it being broadcast for the entire world to see, that’s only the second one. Y’all freaking out [Reigns started to laugh]. Don’t worry, The Tribal Chief loves you. I’m not going anywhere…unless I am who knows? Anyways, what if that was the last one. Look at it, there’s so much riding on us.
We have all of the titles, we’re the very best at what we do. I’m the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, I’m the greatest of all-time. The Usos the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in the history of WWE, the greatest of their generation…the entirety of the business. It goes without being said, everything supports it. But what if that’s the last time you see us do what nobody can do? That’s the Island of Relevance right there. People, it’s not a gimmick, this isn’t something we’re putting on shirts and selling. No, this is as real as it gets because anybody that sits at the table, anybody that tries to step up, anybody that’s near us, automatically becomes better.
You’ve been seeing this. The proof is in whether you like it or not, you love it and we already know you respect it because you acknowledge it everywhere we go. Think about that, if that’s the last one, we already know y’all are going to miss us because we’re the greatest to ever do it. It’s because we’re The Bloodline.”
WWE has yet to announce an opponent, but Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is set to headline WrestleMania Backlash.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that there’s been speculation online that perhaps Reigns would not be on the show since they have not set up an opponent for him but that is not the case and he will be there.
Meltzer stated, “He is, in fact, in the main event. I presume they’ll shoot the angle on Friday. I don’t know that as a fact, I would presume it. But he is in the main event on the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view.”
Reigns holds the Undisputed and WWE Championship after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania in Dallas. Days later on SmackDown, Reigns and The Usos attacked Shinsuke Nakamura but there has been no hint as to who he will face at the pay-per-view.
Reigns returned to in-ring action this past week after not appearing on the recent episode of SmackDown.
As of this writing, here are the matches announced so far for WrestleMania Backlash:
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship – “I Quit” Match Charlotte Flair (Champion) vs. Ronda Rousey
Cody Rhodes vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins
WWE Raw/SmackDown Tag Team Championship Unification Match RK-Bro (Raw) vs. The Usos (SmackDown)
Roman Reigns once again broke character at a WWE live event, but this time, he had a request for the fans in attendance. Reigns previously broke character by doing a babyface promo for his hometown fans in Pensacola, FL last month.
After the main event of Saturday night’s live event in Erie, PA, Reigns did a babyface promo where he said the energy from the fans made it easy for the wrestlers to do what they do and brought up how they don’t have an off-season.
Reigns thanked the fans for coming out but asked them to not post his promo on social media considering he’s a heel. You can watch the entire promo here:
UPDATE: The original video was deleted. Click here for the video of Roman Reigns breaking character.
At the event, Reigns retained the unified WWE Universal Title against Drew McIntyre in the main event. This is a match that McIntyre recently pushed for at the upcoming UK show on Saturday, September 3 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, which marks the first major PPV event in the UK since 1992.
Reigns wasn’t featured on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, but is advertised to appear on next week’s show. The last time he appeared on WWE programming was when he joined The Usos in laying out Shinsuke Nakamura. As of this writing, he doesn’t have a match lined up for WrestleMania Backlash next month.
WWE is slated to make its return to the UK later this month and has started announcing what fans can expect when they attend.
The company will hold shows from April 28th through May 1st in Newcastle at the Utilita Arena, London from The O2, Paris at Accor Arena, and Leipzig at the QUARTERBACK Immobilien Arena.
The matches advertised to take place at shows in Paris and London are Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey, and Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos
Also advertised to appear includes Bobby Lashley, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Naomi, Intercontinental Champion Ricochet, Gunther, and more.

WWE has already confirmed that Rousey will challenge Flair for the Women’s Title at WrestleMania Backlash in an I Quit Match, which is a rematch from WrestleMania where Flair retained the title despite tapping while the referee was down.
LONDON! Are you ready to see some of the biggest Superstars in action?
The Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre
The Queen Charlotte Flair vs The Baddest Woman Alive Ronda Rousey
It looks like WWE is unifying the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles. Reigns cut a promo last week on SmackDown about how he wanted The Usos to have more gold and told them to take the Raw Tag Titles from RK-Bro so that they can unify them. On Monday’s Raw, The Usos challenged Orton and Riddle to a title unification match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles. After Orton and Riddle beat The Street Profits, The Usos laid out RK-Bro and held up both set of titles.
A couple of weeks ago, WrestlingNews.co first reported on post-WrestleMania plans for Roman Reigns.
Ads that were sent out listed Reigns as the Universal Champion and defending the title against Roman Reigns. The ads were listed for the 4/16 show in Erie, PA, and the 4/17 show in Syracuse, NY.
As noted earlier, WWE is advertising Reigns vs. McIntyre for shows in London and Paris and we’ve learned that they are scheduled for matches in May, which likely means that they will also wrestle at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. At this point, there are no plans for McIntyre to win the title.
Last October, Noble Reporters Media reported that there were no plans for Roman Reigns to drop the title anytime soon and we were told that the idea is to push him on the level of names like Hulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino.
Over the last couple of months, WWE has been touting that Reigns’ title reign as one of the longest in company history, only behind Hogan, Sammartino, Pedro Morales and Bob Backlund. We are told that, as of today, there are still no plans for him to lose the title anytime soon. Some in the company have speculated that he will hold the title through next year’s WrestleMania (the hope is that The Rock will come back for one final match) and by that point, the company would start pushing Reigns as the greatest of all-time.
Reigns has been champion for 590 days. The last time Reigns lost a match was at the TLC pay-per-view on 12/15/2019. He lost a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to Baron Corbin on that show.
On this week’s “Reality of Wrestling,” Booker T talked about his trainee Rok-C making her WWE debut, as well as the path he sees ahead for The Rock, Roman Reigns, and how Cody Rhodes fits in.
Booker T talking about Rok-C joining NXT:
“I just want to congratulate Rok-C who made her NXT debut under the name Roxanne Perez,” Booker said.
“I just want to say, man, it’s awesome seeing the young lions of Reality of Wrestling go out there and perform at a very, very high level. I try not to take a whole lot of credit, but I must say the stars of Reality of Wrestling, once they get the shine on, boom, it shines very, very bright. So guys, keep doing what you’re doing.”
“We got a few more, I’m sure, that’s going to be getting the rub pretty soon and getting the chance to shine a little light as well. So Rok-C, we sure appreciate you for representing Reality of Wrestling oh so well, and doing it like it’s supposed to be done.”
Booker T was asked, “With the rumors of Rock returning to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, can Cody Rhodes be WWE Champion?”
Booker responded, “I don’t see why Cody can’t take the title off Roman. Roman could easily get it back by WrestleMania. So we got plenty of time to be able to switch that back if that’s the route we’re going to go.”
“I hate booking matches or anything like that. I hate going there. But for me, this is a case of, you know, give the fans something totally different and unique. We’ve talked about it. There’s no way that we cannot give the people exactly the story as written. A lot of people want to see that story. A lot of people wanted to see me win against Triple H. Just think about how many people are still talking about that story today because it didn’t happen.”
“Cody is in a position for that to happen for him. It seems to be something that we’re working towards happening here relatively quickly. So for me, from a promoter standpoint, having a small little company here in Texas called Reality of Wrestling, I would put the rocket on him and put the title on him, and boom, create some magic.”

It’s no secret that Roman Reigns and WWE want The Rock back for one more match at next year’s WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles.
Everything depends on The Rock’s schedule and how much he wants to match and if you watched the latest episode of “Young Rock” then you certainly get the impression that The Rock might be interested in the match.
As seen in the clip below, The Rock is surrounded by his family and then a young Joe Anoa’i (Reigns) jumps on Rock’s back. Reigns asked to wrestle his cousin but Rock says the world is not ready and a match that big can only happen at WrestleMania.
In the “WWE Evil” clip, Reigns is described as someone who is destined to be one of the greatest Superstars of all-time. They cut to Peter Rosenberg saying that as far as the greatest Samoan Superstars, no one is bigger than The Rock. They cut to a clip of Reigns on The Tonight Show saying that he would fight The Rock but “I don’t know if he wants it.”
Everything depends on what The Rock wants but there is no doubt that the line said in “Young Rock” would not have been included if Dwayne Johnson didn’t approve of it.

It’s clear that WWE is fully behind Cody Rhodes right now as one of the top babyfaces on Monday Night Raw and it appears that he will eventually challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at some point.
Rhodes got his first WWE Raw win in six years last night against The Miz and he is now on the path towards a rematch with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania Backlash.
PWInsider is reporting that internally, Cody Rhodes is slotted as the number two babyface on the brand, second to Bobby Lashley. AJ Styles is listed as the number 3 babyface.
Advertisements
Lashley is currently in a feud with Omos, Rhodes is feuding with Seth Rollins and AJ Styles is involved with Edge and his faction.
On SmackDown, Roman Reigns is obviously listed as the number one heel for SmackDown and the top babyface is Drew McIntyre. Reigns vs. McIntyre is listed for upcoming house shows.

WWE has begun the build towards WrestleMania Backlash but as of this writing, there are no hints about what Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are doing on the show.
Last Friday, Reigns and The Usos attacked Shinsuke Nakamura so it’s possible that Reigns vs. Nakamura is the next title match program but Nakamura has been positioned as a mid-card guy for years so if that match does happen then a lot of work will need to be done to make Nakamura look credible for Reigns.
As for Brock Lesnar, he is advertised for upcoming pay-per-view events but there was no sign of him at Raw or SmackDown last week.
Last week there was speculation that Reigns was injured during his WrestleMania match with Lesnar but Dave Meltzer reported that the match went as planned and that Reigns is not hurt. If he is hurting, then that is being kept a secret from everyone because key people in the company that would know are not aware that there’s an injury.
Ringside News reported today that “no one knows the truth” in regards to the situation outside of “Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and Usos” and that the only people that really know are Vince McMahon “and maybe Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis.”
In other words, the creative team and the agents have not been told anything. RSN reported that someone on the creative team stated, “we’ve asked, since we’re planning Backlash, and Vince didn’t answer either way.”
Another thing that should be noted is that Reigns did not wrestle at the live events this past weekend. He could have simply been given the weekend off but if he doesn’t wrestle this coming weekend then it could mean that something else is going on and it’s being hidden from everyone. We should know more later in the week

When Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in 12 minutes at WrestleMania 38 last weekend, there was talk that perhaps the match ended abruptly because Reigns suffered some sort of injury to his arm or shoulder.
The match length falls in line with many of Lesnar’s matches but given that WWE hyped this one as the Greatest WrestleMania Match of All-Time, it seemed to fall flat for some fans. During his appearance on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Reigns was not injured and the match played out just as they laid it out.
“That’s not even true,” Meltzer said about rumors that Reigns is injured. “That was the match. That was the match that was laid out.” Meltzer added, “That’s the nature of the way they put Lesnar matches together which is boom boom boom, big move big move…it was not a bad match by any means. It was a Brock Lesnar match, no different from many others.”
The Lesnar vs. Reigns feud has concluded and Reigns will move onto a different opponent. WWE has not said who Reigns will face next at WrestleMania Backlash. At the house shows, Reigns is advertised for matches against Drew McIntyre. There’s no word on what is next for Lesnar or when he will be back on WWE TV.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns closed out tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown and he revealed what his next step is.
Reigns said he doesn’t think there is anymore to achieve but there’s more for The Usos to do and it’s not enough for them to hold the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. Reigns said that it’s time to unify the Tag Team Championships as well and he wants Jimmy and Jey to win the Raw Tag Team Championships.
Shinsuke Nakamura walked out to the ring but was quickly taken out by Jimmy and Jey with a superkick. There were no hints given as to who would be next to challenge Reigns. McIntyre and Reigns were advertised for house shows this month. McIntyre will face Sami Zayn next week on SmackDown.
Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar in a winner take all title unification match to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in the main event of WrestleMania 38 Sunday.
As a result, Reigns surpassed The Rock, John Cena, Lesnar, and Shawn Michaels on the list of working the most WrestleMania main events. Reigns now has headlined the show six times. Hulk Hogan holds the record with 8.
Also, Reigns joined Hogan, Undertaker, and Randy Savage as the only stars to main event multiple WrestleMania PPVs in the same city. Reigns previously headlined WrestleMania 32 against Triple H in Dallas, Texas.
As previously reported, WWE has a working plan for the Rock to wrestle Reigns at next year’s WrestleMania in Los Angeles as the former WWE Champion is interested in the match. It all comes down to his schedule.
.@WWERomanReigns is set to join Randy Savage (WM 4 & 5 in Atlantic City), @HulkHogan (WMs 2 & 7 in Los Angeles), and @undertaker (WMs 24 & 33 in Orlando) as the only @WWE Superstars to main event multiple #WrestleMania PPVs in the same city/venue.
In the main event of WWE WrestleMania, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns faced WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a Winner Take All Unification Match. WWE has billed this as the biggest WrestleMania match of all-time.
Notes from the match (written in real-time):
Before Brock’s entrance, Roman grabbed the mic and told the fans to acknowledge him. After Brock’s entrance, Heyman did his usual intro for Roman Reigns. Brock did his own introduction for himself.
Lesnar removed his gloves as the bell rang. Lesnar hit knees to the ribs and he drove him into the corner with his shoulders. He picked up Reigns and drove him into the opposite corner. Brock hit three consecutive belly to belly suplexes. Brock clotheslined Roman out of the ring. Paul Heyman distracted Brock, that allowed Roman to spear Brock through the barricade. Brock barely got back in the ring before the 10-count. Roman speared Brock but Brock kicked out of the pin attempt.
Roman hit the Superman punch. He followed up with another Superman punch. Brock slowly got back to his feet, Roman went for another punch but Brock hit five more consecutive German suplexes. Brock went for the F5 but Roman slipped out and hit another Superman punch, the third one of the match. Reigns went for the spear but Brock countered into the F5. Roman kicked out of the pin attempt.
Reigns speared Brock and the referee was knocked out in the process. Low blow to Brock from Roman while the referee was still out. Roman hit Brock with the title belt. Brock kicked out of the pin attempt. Roman hit another spear from the back of Brock, pin attempt, Brock got his hand on the rope. Another spear from Roman but Brock countered into the kimura lock. Roman struggled but he made it to the bottom rope. Roman said his shoulder popped out. Brock went for the F5 but Roman slipped out and hit the spear and he pinned Brock.
The photos below indicate that Roman Reigns likely suffered an injury in the final minutes of his match with Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania.
Towards the end of the match, Reigns told Paul Heyman that something “is out.” It sounded like he may have been talking about his shoulder popping out of the socket but the photos below appear to show that he may have torn a muscle. This may also explain why the match had a flat ending.
So far, there has been no word from WWE on what Reigns’s prognosis is. Hopefully, it’s not as serious as it looks in the photos below. After Reigns won the Undisputed Universal Championship, he struggled to hold one of the titles up but he did manage to get the bad arm up at the end.
As for what is next for the brand titles, the plan is still to have a main title for each brand. It’s not clear yet how the title will be introduced but as of now, there is one men’s WWE title.
Roman Reigns opened up about his decision to step away from WWE for several months in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic while speaking to ESPN.
Reigns was scheduled to challenge Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 in 2020. Reigns, who is a leukemia survivor, made the call to pull himself from the match, Braun Strowman replaced him against Goldberg. Also, Reigns’ wife Galina was also pregnant with twins.
Reigns stated his conversation with Vince McMahon about stepping away “wasn’t a good one.” He noted that WWE didn’t have enough info about the virus and didn’t have a proper protocol for protection so he thinks he made the very smart choice of stepping back and seeing where things went.
When Reigns did make his return in August 2020, he aligned with Paul Heyman before winning the Universal Title. He came back with his new “Tribal Chief” heel character.
ESPN wrote that “both Reigns and Heyman said they might not have returned to WWE unless they were given permission by WWE CEO Vince McMahon to execute this story in a mostly unscripted fashion.”
Reigns stated about the “Tribal Chief” character: “I just kept going back to ‘power.’ I just want to be viewed as the most powerful superstar of all time, when it comes to WWE and sports entertainment. I just really wanted to convey this portrait of strength. Almost like a Mafia-style power. Not only is it respect, but they fear me.”
Reigns stated that while he does have a writer, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he wants to use what was suggested or even look at it.
Reigns will meet WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a winner take all title unification match at WrestleMania 38 night two this Sunday.
Paul Heyman appeared on Mark Andrews’ “My Love Letter To Wrestling” podcast ahead of WrestleMania to discuss the upcoming Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns matchup, and what he looks for when he invests in talent.
Paul Heyman talking about Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar both wanting to be the undisputed best:
“These are alpha males of which you’re talking. They are both D-1 athletes. They are both at the highest peak of WWE. They are both more than one sport champions,” Paul said.
“So it’s a situation where there’s a lot of alpha males that are jockeying for position. No matter how you view this industry, only one person can truly be the top star.”
“You know, there have been situations, Austin and The Rock, Hogan and the Macho Man, where there’s a 1 and a 1A, but there is still clearly a 1. If you think that either Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns are satisfied with being 1A, you’re not taking a full assessment of the ambition of the athlete that you’re assessing.”
On whether he thinks Reigns or Lesnar see themselves as being one of the best of all time:
“I don’t think either Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar are satisfied with being one of the greatest of all time. I think the only title or moniker that Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar are satisfied with will be greatest of all time, undisputed greatest of all time, with no one else even in the top five and everyone else jockeying for six through ten.”
“These are remarkably ambitious, driven performers and athletes who have absolutely no desire to go down in history as Hulk Hogan, and Macho, and Austin, and Rock. No, they want to be head and shoulders above everyone else.”

On why people are interested in the Reigns vs Lesnar match:
“I’ve always thought that the greatest box office is driven by whether, and whether it’s sports entertainment, wrestling, UFC, MMA, Bellator, football or, you know, here in the States, we properly call it soccer, Rugby is all driven by the same thing,” Heyman said.
“Who are these two people? Why are they fighting? And why should I care enough to pay to see it, buy a ticket, or get a streaming service that carries their fight?”
On what Heyman looks for when he invests himself in a talent:
“An unrepentant, uninhibited, unapologetic drive to be the best has ever done it on any platform and a progression into the future so that even future superstars 20 years from now understand that the measuring stick applies to the person that I’m working with.”
WWE has filed trademarks for two of its biggest stars – Bianca Belair and Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
On March 24, WWE locked down the rights to the term, ‘EST’, ‘Acknowledge Me’, and ‘Tribal Chief’ with it being listed for entertainment and merchandising purposes.
EST is Belair’s nickname and Tribal Chief is Reigns’ nickname. Reigns also uses Acknowledge Me as a tagline. Here are the descriptions:
“Mark For: TRIBAL CHIEF trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.
Mark For: EST trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.”
Both Reigns and Belair will compete at WrestleMania this weeknd. Belair will challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Title on night 1 while Reigns will headline the second night when he meets WWE champion Brock Lesnar in a title unification match.
Paul Heyman will be staying in WWE for a long time to come.
Heyman has been in the middle of the main event scene alongside WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns since the “Tribal Chief” made his return in August 2020 where he has been on a dominant run.
Heyman has been working with Reigns both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. While speaking to Richard Deitsch on the Sports Media podcast, Heyman revealed that he signed a long-term deal with WWE last year.
“It was public knowledge that my contract came up last year and I kept it very close to the vest because I’m not one of these people that, A, want to negotiate in public, and B, I’m reading an awful lot lately about who signed for how long and how much, and I never want that to be me. This much, I will say, I re-signed with WWE last year, it was a long-term agreement. They created a situation where I would have been a fool not to take them up on their offer. I’m locked in for a while. I also…this has been the case for a long time for me because I do outside projects just because I like to multi-task and I’m very ADD and I can’t concentrate on one thing ever in my life. I have carve-outs to allow me to do other projects, which is also to WWE’s benefit because I’m locked into WWE as well. I’m always gonna be, ‘oh that WWE guy is doing this outside project.’ I would never do anything that would betray my deal with WWE because they went out of their way to ensure that I was here. I’m happy, I’m locked in, and we’re mutually satisfied with each other’s contributions.”
Heyman will be at ringside for the showdown between Reigns and WWE Champion in a winner take all title unification bout on the second night of WrestleMania 38 this Sunday.
Roman Reigns is in the middle of an unbelievable run as WWE Universal Champion as he’s been the title holder for over 500 days.
He is slated to meet WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a title unification match at WrestleMania 38 next Sunday. While speaking on The Michael Kay Show to promote the show, Reigns made a comparison to NBA Legend Michael Jordan as they both have to motivate themselves to greatness.
“Oh, of course, I absolutely respect him, but in this sense, when it goes to one v one, hand on hand, you got to have some hate. Whether it’s to the core or not you have to you know, like Michael Jordan, I have to like personally motivate myself and grasp on to anything I can to take myself to that main event energy to that main event level to that championship defense mode. God mode, if you will.
So yeah, there’s gonna be a lot of respect for many different reasons. Who he is as a performer, as an athlete. The history that we have, the way it’s affected me and my career, the way it’s changed my mindset, the things that I’ve learned, the things that I’ve done wrong, and how I’ve corrected those things. There’s so many things to be grateful for within my interactions with Brock, especially this one that’s coming up at WrestleMania when I beat them, and I solidify this run as the greatest Universal Champion of all time.”
Edge teased challenging for Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship and Finn Balor’s NXT Championship.
Edge appeared at the end of this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown to talk about who he will face at WrestleMania 37.
In the opening segment of the show, Roman Reigns demanded for Edge to walk out but Edge had not arrived yet at the building so Reigns demanded Edge to make his decision by the end of the night.
Earlier in the week, Edge teased challenging for Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship and Finn Balor’s NXT Championship.
Reigns asked Edge to acknowledge him as the main event of WrestleMania but before Edge could give his response, Kevin Owens appeared out of nowhere and he hit Reigns with a stunner and the show ended with Edge standing over Reigns.

WrestleMania 37 will air across two nights on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 and the shows will emanate from Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium with approximately 25,000 fans in attendance on both nights.
WWE’s decision to run the Payback PPV event one week after SummerSlam was bold.
The company did very well to build hype for back-to-back shows, but with Roman Reigns returning seven days ago, this Sunday’s main event was set.
It saw ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt put his Universal Championship on the line against Braun Strowman and The Big Dog.

Talk about a heavyweight clash. The first 10 minutes of the match saw The Fiend and Strowman go to war, with no sign of Reigns.
The pair wore themselves down, battling around the ThunderDome, before a Superplex from the top rope COLLAPSED THE RING.
Absolute madness! At this point, Reigns appeared from the back with Paul Heyman in tow and entered himself into the match.
He tried to secure multiple pinfalls on both Wyatt and Strowman but was unsuccessful.
After pulling out a chair – which was legal in the no holds barred match – The Big Dog went to town beating down both his opponents, before catching The Fiend with a low blow.

With Wyatt out of the ring, Reigns hit a spear on Strowman to win the Universal title.
He celebrated on the ramp with Heyman, leaving no doubt that he’s turned heel upon his return to WWE.
The Payback main event was absolutely brilliant and this is expected to be a new era, with heel Reigns sitting at the top of the tree.
Fans have been desperate to see The Big Dog turn for years and now it’s finally happened, so we can’t wait to see where this goes.
At Payback, Reigns did exactly what was written on his shirt. He came to ‘wreck everyone and leave’.
Roman Reigns has not been seen in WWE since March.
The Big Dog pulled out of his Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 36 as he didn’t want to compete during the coronavirus pandemic.

He has battled leukaemia twice and because of that, his immune system is compromised, meaning COVID-19 is especially dangerous to him.
Staying away from the ring is absolutely the right call given the circumstances.
According to reports, Vince McMahon has instructed people to avoid even mentioning Reigns during his absence from WWE.

From one viewpoint, that’s fair enough. The show must go on – and there’s no point giving airtime to a Superstar who won’t be around for a while.
But WWE took things to another level on this week’s RAW, by removing Reigns from a WrestleMania 31 highlights package.
Hyping Money in the Bank, the footage showed Seth Rollins cashing in to win the WWE Championship – but rather than showing him pinning Reigns, the screen cut to black.

That’s just ridiculous… and very petty.
Surely it took far more effort to edit out the pin, rather than just showing three seconds of Reigns from five years ago.
It’s like WWE are trying to erase him from memory.
If you’ve never seen the match, you wouldn’t know The Big Dog was involved, and you’d think Rollins pinned Brock Lesnar from that footage.

Reigns was pinned at WrestleMania 31 Talk about misleading. Don’t expect to see Reigns back in WWE anytime soon, either.
Despite being airbrushed out, he’s allowed to pick his own return date and will not be forced back to work earlier than necessary.
His health needs to come first at a time like this, so it seems WWE will be pretending that Reigns doesn’t exist for a while longer.
