The Usos react to record-breaking WWE Tag Team Title reign.

The run that everyone involved in The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn) has been on has been unbelievable, as Reigns is in the middle of a long reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. In contrast, The Usos have been the long-term Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.

Last Friday on SmackDown, The Usos faced off against The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) in a WWE Tag Team Championship match where they successfully retained the titles, which came along with a history-making accomplishment for Jimmy and Jey as well.

The Usos became the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history today (November 14). The Usos reacted to the accomplishment by writing, “officially the best team in WWE EVER!!!!”

The New Day had previously held the record since December 2016 when their own incredible title reign ended, but The Usos have now held the SmackDown Tag Team Championship for 484 days, taking them ahead of that team.

The Usos became the undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions in May 2022 after defeating then-Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro in a winner take all match. The team is closing in on setting a record in WWE by becoming the first team to hold the tag team titles for a 500-day reign.

Kofi Kingston comments on the possibility of a Trios Title in WWE & health update on Big E.

NBC Sports Boston’s Steve Fall sat down with WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston. They discuss the possibility of a WWE Trios Championship, Tag Team Matches some day main eventing WrestleMania, Crown Jewel taking place on November 5th and several other topics.

Kofi was asked who he feels is going to win the match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul at Crown Jewel: Learn How To Relocate to Canada!!

“I’m very impressed with the way that Logan Paul’s been able to naturally be so good, not even good, but amazing in the ring these past couple of matches that he’s had. Like, you’re not supposed to be that good. You’re not supposed to be able to pick it up that fast. From promos all the way to in-ring work, and moves, and attitude, and making things look realistic and believing it. You’re not supposed to be that good. I love the way he’s brought this amazing energy to the WWE, like you can’t take your eyes off him. It’s amazing.”

“Having said that, I gotta go with Roman Reigns. I mean, you’re not the undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion for almost two years now without being very, very good. His progression has been phenomenal. Seeing him develop in terms of character all the way from The Shield to what he is now, it’s remarkable and just carrying the industry right now. So yeah, realistically I feel like Roman should kind of wipe the floor with him, but Logan Paul, he’s surprised me the past couple of matches. So I’m gonna watch like everybody else and see what’s what

On if he feels there could be a Trios championship in WWE and an update on Big E:

“Anything is possible. There’s a lot of trios going on, Sheamus and The Brawling Brutes, The Bloodline, The New Day. We’ll see how E (Big E) does in coming back. He’s getting a lot better too for those who are concerned and whatnot. He was actually roller skating the other day. I was like, ‘Oh my God. You’re alright.’ He’s coming along and he’s in great spirits. We’re just kind of taking it one day at a time with him. But yeah, I think a trios title would be interesting. Kofi Kingston reacts to short match with Brock Lesnar.

Kofi Kingston went on a wild journey in 2019 as he became a main event star that was capped off with winning the WWE Title from Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35. Learn How To Relocate to Canada!!

Kingston dropped the title to Brock Lesnar on the October 4, 2019, episode of SmackDown on FOX. This was the premiere episode of SmackDown on the station, and WWE booked it as a squash match.

“I have no idea. I don’t really dwell on the why. There are a lot of things in the industry that you look at sometimes and go woah, ‘why did that happen?’ You just move on, and the wheel keeps on turning. For me to dwell on what happened in that match with Brock Lesnar doesn’t serve me any purpose. It’s not going to make me better or change what happened or do anything besides make me feel bad, and I’m not going to let it do that. I have a lot more career left to handle. I think it’s a scenario where it’s a rare and unique opportunity to be on this roster. As far as my run, being WWE Champion, I got to go six months almost to the day so that is a very long reign.”

Kingston brought up how there aren’t many stars that had six-months or more WWE Title reigns as it was only himself, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, and Roman Reigns. During his WWE Title reign, he brought up feuding with Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton. Learn How To Relocate to Canada!!

Kingston added, “To be able to button that up was great. I enjoyed my title run. I enjoyed every single moment of it because I know how rare it is to be in that championship role. You embrace it.”

WrestleMania 38: New Match Added To Sunday Card.

WWE has added Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. Ridge Holland and Sheamus to tonight’s WrestleMania card. The match was cut from WrestleMania Saturday because some of the matches went long.

The match was scheduled to go on second to last in the show but they ended up going straight to the KO Show/Steve Austin match.

Kofi Kingston doesn’t know what he’s doing at WWE WrestleMania.

Kofi Kingston currently does not know what he will be doing at WWE WrestleMania 38. Xavier Woods had been sidelined for several weeks and Big E recently suffered a broken neck, which may have an impact on WWE’s plans for The New Day at WrestleMania.

Before Big E suffered the neck injury, WWE was planning to book a six-man tag team match between The New Day and Sheamus, Butch & Ridge Holland at WrestleMania.

Kingston made an appearance on Audacy’s The Bart Winkler Show. During it, he recapped Big E’s injury and obviously pointed out Big E won’t be available for Mania. He’s hopeful to have Woods back full-time to have something to do at WrestleMania.

“With regards to what I’m going to be doing at WrestleMania, I don’t know, I’m not sure. Hopefully, Woods will be back and we can mix it up with some of these tag teams out there. Everything is up in the air, you never know what is going to happen leading up to WrestleMania, that’s why it’s so exciting right now because we really just don’t know.”

Woods made his in-ring return at a recent WWE show after dealing with a plantaris injury. You can listen to the interview here with the quotes being found around the 8:11 mark.
