Naira, fuel scarcity orchestrated to make Tinubu lose – FFK.

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, has described the sufferings occasioned by scarcity of new notes and fuel as a calculated attempt to stop All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from winning the forthcoming presidential election.

Scarcity of fuel as well as naira crunch has continued to inflict unprecedented hardship on Nigerians since the announcement of the naira redesign policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The APC chieftain in a series of tweets on Saturday, also slammed CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, for allegedly printing only N3 billion naira new notes having mopped up N3 trillion worth of old notes from circulation.

He accused Emefiele of taking the country on the road to destruction, insisting Tinubu will emerge victorious in few days.

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Saturday, dismissed claims that President Muhammadu Buhari and northern governors would betray Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate.

Fani-Kayode said there is no conspiracy between Buhari and northern governors to betray Tinubu for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

In a tweet, the former Aviation Minister insisted that no such conspiracy exists.

He assured that Buhari, Norther APC governors, and leaders would not work against Tinubu.

According to Fani-Kayode: “To those who believe that @MBuhari & the Northern Governors & leaders in @OfficialAPCNg are involved in a conspiracy to ensure that @atiku wins next year’s election and that they will betray @officialABAT and ensure that he loses, I say the following: no such conspiracy exists.”

Tinubu emerged as APC flag bearer following the backing of Northern APC governors.

APC northern governors had insisted that the party zone its presidential ticket to the southern party of the country, prior to the Abuja Special Convention.

Despite APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, rooting for the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, the northern governors maintained that the south must produce the party’s presidential candidate

‘Forgery’: FFK has no medical record at our hospital, witness tells court.

Advertisements

Bassey Amah, head of medical records at the Kubwa General Hospital, says Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation, does not have medical records at the hospital.

The EFCC, in a 12-count charge filed before the court, accused Fani-Kayode of presenting a false medical report before a federal high court in Ikoyi.

The anti-graft agency alleged that the former aviation minister hired one Ogieva Oziegbe to produce the alleged false medical report.

Advertisements

Testifying before the court at the commencement of trial on Wednesday, Amah said his duty was to collect vital medical information of patients.

“Mr Femi is not our patient and he does not have any medical record with us. The doctor that signed the report is not our doctor,” he said.

“In fact, we do not have any Dr Tochukwu Eze at our hospital.”

Advertisements

Amah said upon receiving a letter dated October 3, 2021 from the EFCC to investigate the defendant, the hospital responded 10 days later.

“Kubwa General Hospital received a letter dated October 3, 2021, from EFCC to investigate the defendant, that he did not have a medical record with the hospital,” he said.

“We sent a letter back with evidence on October 13, 2021 to EFCC, that the defendant was never our patient.

Advertisements

“The evidence tendered emanated from Kubwa General Hospital.”

However, Norrison Quakers, defence counsel, objected to the tendering of the document.

“My lord, I cannot see the name of the witness on the documents in reference to sections 102 and 104 of the Evidence Act,” he said.

Advertisements

“I, therefore, object to the evidence tendered, because the witness is not the maker.”

Responding, Rotimi Oyedepo, EFCC counsel, said the documents to be tendered are public documents.

“The documents are originals, and the witness is the maker of the documents,” he said.

Advertisements

“I refer your lordship to section 102(3) of the Evidence Act which says an officer or official on duty is authorised to submit documents.”

The documents were admitted in evidence by Olubunmi Abike-Fadipe, the presiding judge, who stated that the authors of the document did not need to be in court for the documents to be acceptable.

Advertisements

She noted that the witness testified that he was the head of medical records of Kubwa General Hospital, and that the letter was issued by the hospital’s medical director.

“In this case, I have certified that the witness in the box is competent to give evidence in court. I, therefore, admit the documents in evidence,” Abike-Fadipe said.

The matter has been adjourned till February 25 for continuation of trial.

Let’s all carry Guns since Fulani are allowed to use Arms – FFK says.

Advertisements

Fani-Kayode described Igboho as a freedom fighter, who was ready to collaborate with anyone who wants the region to be at peace.

A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has said Nigerians should be licensed to carry sophisticated arms like AK-47 if Fulani herdsmen are permitted to secure themselves with the same type of weapon.

He said this on Thursday when he visited Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, who is popularly known as Sunday Igboho, at his residence in Ibadan.

Advertisements

Fani-Kayode said the best strategy to tackle the insecurity facing the nation was for the government to rise up to its responsibility to defend the people.

He, however, said another option to reduce mindless killings of law-abiding Nigerians was for the government to permit individuals to bear arms.

The former minister said since the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (retd), also urged Nigerians to defend themselves against kidnappers and killers, they should be allowed to carry sophisticated weapons to defend themselves effectively.

Advertisements

Fani-Kayode said, “The Bauchi State Governor said a few days ago that Fulani herdsmen should be allowed to carry AK-47, but I disagree with him on that, but that is his own opinion. If you go by that principle, it makes absolute sense that if Fulani herdsmen are allowed to carry AK-47 to defend their cows and their lives if they feel threatened, then it is also logical that farmers, local people and each one of us to also have that right to defend ourselves against Fulani herdsmen or against those seeking to come and kill us.

“I am totally behind that and I like that. Why not, Americans have that right. If we had that long time ago the killings we are witnessing now would not have the kind of atrocities being committed all over the country.

“Insecurity is not limited to the South-West; you will be surprised at what is going on in the North. But the best way is for the government to rise up and defend us; that is why we pay them. “

He said Igboho was not against law-abiding Fulani or any person from anywhere living in the South-West, but his position was that criminal herdsmen must stop their criminal activities or be flushed out of the region.

Fani-Kayode described Igboho as a freedom fighter, who was ready to collaborate with anyone who wants the region to be at peace.

Igboho said he adopted what Fani-Kayode said, saying he was against criminal herdsmen and other criminals.

Fr Kukah debunks critics, coup allegation

Advertisements

He said effort by government to silent dissenting voices was unacceptable and must be resisted.

Bishop Matthew Kukah of the Sokoto Catholic Archdiocese., yesterday, responded to attacks on him over his Christmas Day message, urging Nigerians to ignore the lie against him.

Advertisements

He disclosed this in a chat with journalists yesterday, and asked Nigerians to dwell on the statement he made, not on lies against him, He explained that his message, titled ‘Another Christmas with Dark Clouds of Death,’ was based on his love for the country without any political or ulterior motive.

On the attacks on him, he said he was pained that his critics had failed to see that many innocent lives were being lost on daily basis and had failed to show concern for the loss of lives in the last ten years, even before the advent of this administration.

He said: “The reactions are a reflection of every citizen that make up Nigeria. It is sad that when you drop something in Nigeria, everybody goes back to their enclave and abandons the larger picture. I am someone who never takes offence to what people say about me.

Advertisements

“What I said was my opinion based on evidence and what has happened in Nigeria, and if you looked into the records, there is evidence that justifies that statement, and if anyone thinks I am wrong, they should come out with a superior position.”

He described as unfair news reports that he called for a coup while expressing his personal view about Nigeria.

To those calling him to drop his priesthood cassock and join the political fray, Kukah said if he was to join politics, it would have been during the time of the late Aminu Kano and not now.

He said: “I have no plan and will never play partisan politics for any reason. Those who link my message to partisan politics are only playing to the gallery.

Advertisements

He argued that his views on governance and politics would not make him a politician, saying: “Take, for instance, brilliant Nigerian youths making comments about Chelsea or Arsenal and have never been to England, does that make them players of such club sides?”

He argued that people who called him a politician because of his comments on governance were totally ignorant of elementary politics and the role of a priest.

Advertisements

“Whatever I said can please or displease anyone, but that is my own. I have no problem with Muslims, Christians, or any other religion but what I don’t like is when someone is using a religious issue to play politics, it is wrong.”

COALITION of Nigerian Muslim Professionals (CNMP) and other groups had, yesterday, joined the ranks of those condemning attacks on Bishop Matthew Kukah of Sokoto Catholic Archdiocese. The attacks followed his sermon on Christmas Day, which warned against nepotism and other aberrations that had impeded the country’s growth under President Muhammadu Buhari.

The latest support for Kukah by the CNMP and others came as the cleric broke his silence on the attacks against him, tongue-lashing his attackers and accusing them of deliberately misinterpreting his message to suit their selfish pursuits.

Advertisements

The coalition commended Kukah for “his boldness to speak truth to power.” They faulted those who rose against him over his sermon. In the statement signed yesterday by the group’s National Coordinator, Prof. Mohammed Inuwa, the group noted that President Buhari meant well for the country, but faulted him for some actions taken by his administration against the country’s unity.

The coalition said the country would be a great place to live if it had three persons like the Catholic bishop, saying that persons attacking the truth do so for their personal interests.

It urged the President to see the bishop’s message as a wake-up call with a view to adjusting his policies and programmes for the betterment of the country and Nigerians.

The professionals accused attackers of the bishop as doing so for pecuniary gains and not in the interest of the country. It warned against twisting the cleric’s message to mean that he called for a coup, saying the bishop was too learned to support such ignoble path to installing leadership, saying Nigerians with a conscience would not fall for the antics of those twisting the Bishop’s message.

Advertisements

The group said: “Even during the military era where people dreaded the powers that be at the time, Bishop Kukah, who was then a Catholic priest spoke truth to those at the helm of affairs without fear or favour. He has shown through his actions all the years that he is a true son of Nigeria in particular and Africa in general. We should support him for being bold enough to come out to speak what many Nigerians know is the truth but are afraid to speak out for fear of the leadership.”

It continued: “While we must admit that President Muhammadu Buhari means well for the nation, we must say most people in his government are grossly incompetent and don’t deserve to stay around power even in an uncivilised space.”

Advertisements

The group said it would not shy away from the truth even though most of the President’s actions drawing criticisms were in favour of its region.

It flayed marginalisation of the Igbo in every facet of national life, saying the development was not promoting national cohesion, which nationalists that laid down their lives for the country’s independence wanted.

“There’s nothing wrong with Bishop Kukah’s statement in the actual sense. Some regions particularly the South East have been marginalised in successive governments, and the administration of President Muhammad Buhari came and amplified it with the worst,” it added.
SOUTHERN Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) youth wing and the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), yesterday, joined the list of those declaring their support for Kukah and his sermon.

Advertisements

The Secretary General of ECWA, Rev Yunusa Sabo Nmadu, in a statement, said there was nothing new about what Bishop Kukah said.

“The bishop has spoken our minds and we will resist any attempt by any group or agency of government to harm him. Enough of this intimidation.”

The cleric reinforced Kukah’s position on nepotism, saying: “as a matter of fact, Nepotism under President Buhari’s administration is topnotch. This administration has first class in nepotism and maladministration. The Federal Government must immediately take steps towards addressing those concerns raised by Bishop Kukah, rather than sponsoring fake groups to attack the revered bishop.”

He said the earlier the administration took steps to address the concerns raised by Kukah, the better for the country.

Advertisements

SOKAPU youth leaders flayed the statement credited to Arewa Youths Consultative Forum and signed by its national President, Yerima Shetima, “calling for the arrest of Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah.

A statement issued by the group, signed by its national leader, John Isaac, lamented that despite the obvious lopsidedness in the composition of the security architecture of the country as pointed by Bishop Kukah, the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum allowed itself to be dragged into the “murky waters of tribalism, ethnic loyalty and religious bigotry, choosing to look away the realities of the North which has become a pool of blood and a yard of graves”.

Court snub EFCC’s petition to revoke FFK’s bail

Advertisements

Again, the EFCC lawyer said he did not have Fani-Kayode’s phone number to know if his counsel was calling him.

The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, refused to grant the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s application, seeking for revocation of the bail granted to the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode.

Advertisements

Justice John Tsoho ruled that the medical report brought by the defence counsel, Wale Balogun, that Fani-Kayode was indisposed was sufficient reason to reject the application by the EFCC’s lawyer, Mohammed Abubakar.

Noble Reporters Media (NoRM) reports that the ex-minister was, on Nov. 10, 2016, admitted to a N50 million bail bond with a surety in the like sum.

Advertisements

Fani-Kayode is accused by the anti-graft agency of diverting N26 million alleged to have received from the ex-National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.) during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

At the resumed hearing, Abubakar, who said the matter was for trial continuation, noted that Fani-Kayode was not in court.

Advertisements

The lawyer stated further that the former minister was equally not in court on two previous occasions, which he argued, amounted to jumping of bail.

Abubakar, thereafter, urged the court to revoke Fani-Kayode’s bail and issue a bench warrant against him.

He also prayed the court to summon his surety to show cause why the bail bond would not be forfeited.

However, lawyer to the former minister Balogun urged the court to dismiss the EFCC’s oral application.

Advertisements

He argued that such an application should be filed formally.

According to him, the prosecutor has narrated some facts and such facts should be on record by way of an affidavit.

Advertisements

Balogun further argued that before the commencement of the sitting, he met with Abubakar and gave him two reasons the ex-minister was not in court.

According to him, I told him that the defendant has been indisposed in the last two weeks.

“I showed him the medical report from the Kubwa General Hospital that the defendant should be on bed rest,” he said.

Advertisements

Balogun said due to his state of health, he could not attend the sister case in Lagos.

Again, the lawyer said he also misinformed Fani-Kayode about the next hearing date.

“We have advised the defendant that the matter was for tomorrow (Thursday).

“It was our error, I mean the lawyers. I even called him (Fani-Kayle) on phone to the knowledge of the prosecutor but he has not picked.

Advertisements

“I have called him more than 20 times just to tell him that the matter was for today.

“His absence today regrettably is due to our fault, the lawyers’ fault. We apologise.

Advertisements

“We plead passionately with ur lordship that the defendant will be in court tomorrow,” he said.

Balogun added that his absence in the last two proceedings was not his making.

“The defendant has always been coming to court before now.

Advertisements

“The last time, it was beyond him because the airspace was shut down,” he said.

Balogun, who said that the reason for bail revocation must be substantial, urged the court not to grant the prosecution’s application.

Abubakar, who responded on points of law to submissions by Balogun, said issues of bench warrant did not require a formal application.

He enjoined the court to take judicial notice of all the reasons adduced for Fani-Kayode’s absence.

Advertisements

Abubakar argued further that the defence counsel, who announced his appearance after he did, had all the opportunity to tell the court why his client was not in court.

He said whatever information Balogun gave the prosecution on the absence of his client in court “goes to no issue because he is not the court.”

Advertisements

He also argued that it was the personal responsibility of a defendant on bail, under the law, to know when he should be in court.

“Counsel cannot take responsibility for that,” he said.

Abubakar urged the court to grant his application.

Advertisements

Justice Tsoho then asked Balogun for a copy of the medical report.

In his ruling, the judge disagreed with Balogun that an application for bail revocation ought to have been made orally, citing the law to back the decision.

He also agreed with Abubakar that the defendant had a personal responsibility to his case.

The judge, however, said that the reasons giving by the defence counsel for the absence of his client on the two previous occasions when the court sat were justifiable.

Advertisements

Besides, Tsoho, who ruled that the medical report was sufficient to justify the absence of Fani-Kayode in court, declined to grant the EFCC’s application.

He adjourned the matter until Feb. 23 and Feb. 24, 2021, for the continuation of hearing.

IGP orders withdrawal of ordelities watching Christ Embassy, FFK & 59 others.

The IG further directed the senior officers to submit a report confirming compliance not later than November 10.

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the immediate withdrawal of police personnel attached to billionaire businessman, Emeka Offor; former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode; some clerics and companies across the country.

The directive affected 60 individuals, corporate and religious bodies including the Christ Embassy, Think Nigeria First Initiative, Uche Sylva International, Stanel Groups, KYC Holding, among others.

Other persons on the list include former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal; Sen Lado Yakubu, Amb. Yuguda Bashir, Uche Chukwu, Sen. Boroface Ajayi, Mutiu Nicholas, Sen. Tokunbo Afikuyomi, Edozie Madu, David Adesanya, Chris Giwa, Chief Godwin Ekpo, Chief Pius Akinyelure and others.

This was contained in a letter with reference no.CB: 4001/IGP.SEC/ABJ/VOL.116/32 dated November 4, addressed to Commissioners of Police, Police Mobile Force, Special Protection Unit and all Commissioners of Police in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory by the IG.

It was reported that many dignitaries were still going around with their police security despite the withdrawal of the personnel by the IG during the #EndSARS protests.

Advertisements

The police boss had in a police wireless message dated October 21, 2020, addressed to all state Commissioners of Police ordered them to immediately withdraw the personnel attached to individuals, warning that “any commander who violates this order will bear the consequences.”

But in the latest directive signed by the Principal Staff Officer to the IGP, DCP Idowu Owohunwa on November 4, the police listed the names of VIPs affected by the withdrawal of orderlies.

The letter titled, ‘Immediate withdrawal of police personnel attached to unentitled corporate entities/individuals,’ read in part, “The attention of the IGP has been drawn to the fact that the police personnel attached to the corporate bodies and personalities are yet to be withdrawn despite extant directives to that effect.

“In line with the subsisting order, the IG directs that you withdraw all the PMF, SPU, CTU, or conventional police operations attached to the affected companies or individuals in any of their locations across the country with immediate effect.”

Advertisements

A retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Operations), Adedayo Adeoye had endorsed the withdrawal of the policemen attached to politicians, noting that the Special Protection Unit responsible for giving out police orderlies should be scrapped.

He argued that the politicians have more policemen than the majority of Nigerians, noting that the rich could afford to hire private security for their protection.

Adeoye described the deployment of policemen to guard VIPs as a waste of manpower, stressing that only those constitutionally required to have police orderlies such as the President, Vice President, Senate President, the Speaker, House of Representatives, the Chief Justice of Nigeria and state governors should enjoy special police protection.

Kemi Olunloyo reveal messy things Precious Chikwendu did in her relationship with FFK.

Advertisements

Controversial self-acclaimed journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has taken to the microblogging platform to share more interesting details about the messy divorce between former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode and his now estranged wife, Precious Fani-Kayode.

According to Olunloyo, Precious use to be a prostitute before her marriage to former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode. Kemi went further to state that Precious wanted an open relationship and cheated on FFK countlessly.

Read her tweets below;

Prisca Nduka is the sister to Precious Fani-Kayode. She wrote the viral FB post. Her marriage to an alleged swindler crashed, her husband left her for Swaziland. FFK paid for their wedding out of love for Precious. Prisca once told their late mom “I will rather you die”

Prisca would rather have their mom die than live with Precious meaning under FFK’s care and roof. They insult their uncle’s, aunties and even grandparents. FFK paid for the funeral of their mom and dad. Femi basically “bankrolled” their entire family.

Precious was getting vast amounts of money monthly from her husband. She wanted an open marriage. She had two knife incidents, one at everyone and the other a friend who was visiting. She attacked and beat security guards, maids and other staff. Many quit and left.

Advertisements

When Precious’ father died, FFK paid for all expenses including ambulance, mortuary etc. Prisca insulted the mortuary driver that he threatened to drop their father’s body at a petrol station unless they APOLOGIZE. Both sisters pocketed the funeral expenses and got more

A source told me Precious was dating 2 men b4 Femi started courting her. Ike Ogbonna a Nollywood star who she described as a “homosexual and rogue who BEAT her.” She destroyed her former boss George ruining his business financially and allegedly supporting Ogbonna with.

I’ve never known Ik Ogbonna as a gay man and once interviewed him this year. Precious reportedly said she wasn’t having good sex with him and thus started cheating with her boss George who she eventually allegedly stole his money ruining his business says my source.

Precious Fani-Kayode has a sad sad past before FFK marriage. She told her friends that her dad pimped her to her uncle at the age of 16/17yo in Onitsha as a sex slave and it affected her psychologically. Her friends attribute that to her psychological problem with FFK

Advertisements

Precious was once raped by a man in Lagos in another uncle’s house. She lived thru years of sexual abuse but friends say Fani-Kayode protected her doing so much for her to improve her life. Due to her mom’s health, she raised her own siblings with money from
prostitution

Precious shared a lot with friends, family and staff who are all sharing this info to me now to set the record straight. Femi was reportedly covering up Precious’ mental status. Prisca her sister has provoked a lot of people by her allegations of abuse by Femi

Friends say Precious was seeing a psychiatrist before meeting Femi. They also told me that she was “sleeping” with another man while FFK was in EFCC detention. The extramarital man said he did not know she was married

“I’m deeply sorry for the manner I reacted to the said reporter. I was too hard on him. The question was mischievous, but I fell for it,” he said.

Tinubu’s lead has been knocked under the bus – FFK

Advertisements

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, had been “thrown under the bus and retired from politics.”

The former minister stated this in reaction to President Muhammadu Buhari’s recognition of Victor Giadom as the acting national chairman of the ruling APC.

He wrote on his Twitter handle, @realFFK: “First Oshiomole is kicked out by the Court of Appeal. Then his preferred replacement, Ajimobi, falls into a coma. Then his arch-rival, Giadom is recognised by Buhari as Nat. Chairman.

“Conclusion: it is over for Tinubu. He has been thrown under the bus and retired from politics!”

Advertisements

Recall with Noble Reporters Media that since the Appeal Court affirmed the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the national chairman of the APC in a recent ruling, the party has been thrown into confusion.

The members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) following the development had appointed a former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, said to be ill and hospitalised, as its acting chairman.

However, Victor Giadom, the deputy national secretary of the party declared himself as the APC’s acting national chairman.

Advertisements

But the APC NWC claimed that Giadom lost his position as the party’s deputy national secretary since 2018, when he resigned to be a running mate to Tonye Cole, Rivers governorship candidate in the 2019 election.

Consequently, 17 of the NWC members selected and swore in Worgu Boms as the party’s new deputy national secretary, to replace Giadom.

Not giving up, Giadom recently summoned a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting slated to hold on June 25, which got the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Responding to the apparent political intrigues in the ruling APC, Fani-Kayode, who supposed the NWC had the backing of Tinubu, therefore, described Buhari’s acceptance of Giadom as an end to the political career of the South West political leader.

FFK react to Oshiomhole’s suspension and appointment of sick Ajimobi

Advertisements

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the latest developments in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Recall that hours after the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, dumped the ruling party citing his disqualification to contest in the primaries, the Appeal Court in Abuja upheld the suspension of the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

The APC National Working Committee, NWC, had on Tuesday announced that Abiola Ajimobi, who is said to have been sick, will be acting as the party’s National Chairman, a move that has been rejected by the Deputy National Secretary of the party, Victor Gaidom.

Following the Appeal Court ruling and the appointment of Ajimobi, Gaidom released a statement saying that he was the right man for the job, citing an earlier order by the Federal Capital Territory High Court.

And Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, described the whole scenario playing out in the APC as “stranger than fiction.”

Reacting in a tweet on Wednesday, Fani Kayode said, “The day that Obaseki leaves @OfficialAPCNg, the Court of Appeal declares that Oshiomole is no longer Nat. Chairman of the party and Sen. Ajimobi, the man that has been declared Acting Nat. Chairman, ends up in a coma in the hospital. The whole thing is stranger than fiction.”

EdoDecide’20: Obaseki learnt his lessons the hard way – FFK

Advertisements

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode said the embattled governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, bite the hand that fed him.

Fani-Kayode stated this following the disqualification of Obaseki from his party’s July 22 governorship primary election in Edo State.

Obaseki was dumped out the governorship race following the report of the screening committee inaugurated by the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole.

Advertisements

The screening committee explained that Obaseki could not provide his Higher School Certificate, HSC, the instrument which he used to gain entry into the University of Ibadan to read Classics in 1973.

The committee also said it could not verify the governor’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.

However, the writing had been on the wall.

Obaseki and his predecessor, Oshiomhole, have been at loggerheads over the governor’s second term bid and other issues.

The feud between Obaseki and Oshiomhole has polarised the party in Edo State.

Advertisements

The feud between the duo has also polarised other organs of the ruling party.

Obaseki asked Oshiomhole to recuse himself from the nomination processes of the primary but the party did not act on his request.

Reacting on Friday, Fani-Kayode said Obaseki learned his lesson the hard way:

His words;

“One of the most important virtues in life is LOYALTY. Never bite the finger (hand) that fed you. Obaseki has learned this lesson the hard way. I have known Oshiomole for years. He is a formidable adversary, a skillful fighter &a tough cookie. Obaseki could never have outmaneuvered him.”

COVID-19: FFK question where about, mission of Chinese doctors. [Nigeria]

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has raised questions about the whereabouts of the Chinese medical team brought to the country to help the Nigerian authorities to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a post on his official Twitter page on Saturday also asked if it was true that they (Chinese doctors) are spreading and infecting Nigerians with COVID-19 and are testing new vaccines on citizens.

Fani-Kayode while asking questions about their mission and whereabouts wrote thus on Twitter, “Where are the 15 Chinese doctors? What is their mission? Who invited them?

“Is it true that they are spreading and infecting our people with Covid-19 and testing new vaccines on us?

“Are we Guinea pigs? Why did the Minister of Health tell us to stop asking questions about the Chinese?”

Advertisements

His comments came after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Saturday gave the Federal Government a 48-hour ultimatum to declare the whereabouts of the Chinese medical team.

The party in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the minister’s statement had heightened apprehensions in the public space that the Chinese team, whose identity and activities had been shrouded in secrecy, might have been brought in by a certain cabal for another purpose outside the general public good.

Comparing Buhari to Obasanjo is like comparing Count Dracula to Mother Theresa – FFK speaks. [Nigeria]

Femi Fani-Kayode has spoken against the comparison of the administration of President Buhari to that of ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Femi Fani-Kayode who served as minister of aviation in the Obasanjo administration stated that Buhari has incurred debts for Nigeria which were cleared by Obasanjo.

He also stated that all that was achieved by Nigeria under Obasanjo have been turned into the opposite by Buhari

”Comparing PMB to OBJ is like comparing Count Dracula to Mother Theresa. OBJ united Nigeria, PMB divided her. OBJ brought peace, PMB brought war. OBJ brought prosperity, PMB brought poverty. OBJ brought life, PMB brought death. OBJ brought hope, PMB brought despair

OBJ paid off our foreign debt, Buhari indebted us to the tune of $30 billion and turned us into Africa’s biggest debtor & beggar. OBJ solved our problems, PMB created them. OBJ brought restoration, PMB brought degeneration. OBJ brought us pride, Buhari brought us shame

OBJ brought us good success, PMB brought us stark failure. OBJ loved all Nigerians and treated them equally, Buhari loves only northerners and treats all others like field hands and slaves. OBJ saw Nigeria as a nation, PMB sees her as a conquered territory

Advertisements

OBJ led the best, most successful, most intelligent, most enlightened & most productive cabinet & Govt. in the history of Nigeria whilst PMB leads the worst, most destructive, most savage, most ignorant & most corrupt cabinet & Govt. in the history of Africa

OBJ fought terror & despised terrorists, PMB rewards terror & pampers terrorists. OBJ was a leader, PMB is a ruler. OBJ was a lion, PMB is a mouse. Comparing the two is like comparing night & day or chalk & cheese or heaven & hell: it makes absolutely NO sense!” he wrote

Nigerians call out National Assembly over ‘Generators ban bill’. {Reactions}

Nigerians have begun to call out their representatives at the National Assembly following the introduction of a bill to ban the sale and use of generators.

The bill titled “a bill for an Act to prohibit/ban the importation of generating sets to curb the menace of environmental (air) pollution and to facilitate the development of the power sector” passed First Reading at the Senate on Wednesday.

Sen. Bima Enagi (APC – Niger South) sponsored the bill, which prescribes a 10-year jail term for anyone caught selling generators.

According to the sponsor, the bill when passed will stop “the use of electricity generating sets which run on diesel/petrol/kerosene of all capacities with immediate effect, in the country.”

It will also ban the “importation and use of generating sets (generators) in the country and to curb the menace of environmental pollution which leads to potential health hazards it poses to the whole nation”.

However, the ban shall not include generator sets used for essential services such as medical purposes, airports, railway stations, elevators, escalators, research institutions, and facilities that require a 24-hour power supply.

“Approval for exclusion shall, however, be obtained from the Minister in charge of Power, who shall brief the Federal Executive Council quarterly on approvals granted,” the supporting document read in part.

However, many Nigerians who took to social media queried how a country with an unstable power supply would be able to sustain the ban on generators in residential areas, which the bill appears to target.

Femi Fani-Kayode joins Nollywood {Photos}

Nigeria’s former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has officially joined Nollywood.

Fani Kayode who announced that he has joined the movie industry made the announcement via his Instagram page.

He wrote: “I had the honor and privilege of joining some of the Nollywood greats like Larry Koldsweat, Obi Idejimba and T.T. Temple on set last Saturday and making a cameo appearance in my debut movie which is a series titled “Silent Prejudice.”

We were on set the whole afternoon and, though grueling, it was a great experience and tremendous fun! Many do not know just how hard actors work and the energy and discipline that goes into their craft.

Being a thespian is no mean feat.

It requires total dedication and focus and, having been through what I experienced on Saturday, my respect for them is boundless.

My friends, brothers, colleagues and fellow politicians Chief Dan Iwuanyawu and Senator Dino Melaye appear in the series as well, as does our respected and much-loved big brother Governor Chukwuemeka Ezeife, so I was not alone!

Thankfully the producer, Mr. Chris Oge Kalu, guided us beautifully and taught us all we needed to know.

My beautiful wife Precious (@snowhiteey) was also on set with us and encouraged me immensely. She appears in the movie too!

Season 1 is already being aired on AIT on Wednesdays at 9.00 pm and Season 2, in which I appear, will soon be aired.

The series is about the evils associated with the Osu cast system and has the full.endorsement and participation of the Nigerian Human Rights Commission whose Executive Secretary, Mr. Tony Ojukwu, also makes an appearance

Open Letter: FFK talked some sense into Buhari. (Must read)

Critic and former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has sent an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari on the state of the nation.

Read the letter below:

Mr. President, many believe that you cannot read and those that believe that you can claim that you cannot go beyond three lines and that outside of that you can only comprehend cartoons.

I do not share either view. I know you well enough to concede that when you consider a literary submission of sufficient importance you have the presence of mind, discipline, health, intelligence and ability to read through it very slowly and very carefully weighing up every word. And that is precisely as it should be.

The first open letter that I wrote to you was in December 2015 and the following serves as the second.

You will forgive me because this is a long letter and I am fully aware that your attention span or ability to retain too much information in one fell swoop may not be as good as it used to be.

Nevertheless I urge you to do your best to muster the courage, energy and intellectual stamina to stay the course and to find the time out of your busy schedule to read it from beginning to end.

I have written it because our nation is entering into dangerous and precarious waters and I sense that something will give very soon. I am therefore constrained to use this medium to bring my observations to your attention.

Be rest assured that I speak out of nothing but love and concern for the welfare of the Nigerian people and it is not my intention to insult you or undermine and disrespect your office but rather to shine the light of truth on all your activities with a view to assisting and encouraging you to change your ways.

You will agree with me that, no matter how bitter it may be, that truth must be told. This is a sacred obligation on our part as leaders and a matter of duty and honor.

I owe you, the Nigerian people and posterity that much and I have little doubt that no matter how badly you may feel after reading it, history will vindicate me and prove me right and one day you will acknowledge and recognise the profundity, wisdom and foresight in my constant and consistent criticisms, admonitions and counsel.

Outside of that it is my earnest prayer that the God of Heaven, whose I am and whom I serve, will judge between you and I.

Your Excellency, kindly note and consider the following.

You released hundreds of Boko Haram fighters from prison claiming that they are reformed and a few days later 30 of your citizens are blown up by the same Boko Haram in Borno state.

Worse still on that same day 16 members of the same family and four others were herded into a room and burnt alive by Fulani militants in Kaduna state.

After these terrible events instead of rushing back home to stand with your people, you stayed in Addis Ababa, lamenting and crying about the security situation in Libya and you sent your Vice to a funeral in Nairobi. Such insensitivity, even by your own standards, is rarely seen.

It took you three long days to finally see fit to leave your foreign friends, leave Addis Ababa and fly directly to Maiduguri to express your condolences to the Governor and people of Borno.

Even then you could not muster the courage to go to the town of Auno where the bombing took place but only to Maiduguri, the capital of the state.

Understandably you were received with boos, jeers and shouts of “ba ma so” (meaning “we don’t want”) by the crowds that lined the streets and this was an eloquent testimony to the fact that the entire nation, including the north that you claim to represent and be a champion of, is fed up with you and can no longer bear your incompetence and inability to run the affairs of our nation.

Worst still hours after your condolence visit Boko Haram attacked Maiduguri itself hitting one of its suburbs called Jidari Polo.

Their leader, a cowardly creature that can best be described as a psychopathic, delusional, sociopathic, mentally-deranged, murderous, bloodthirsty, blood-lusting and unconciable monster by the name of Abubakar Shekau, even had the nerve to send you a public warning in a recorded message that was released to the public after you left in which he arrogantly and boastfully declared that you must never come back to Borno again or you would be attacked and that you “should fear and serve God and not cows”. He added the following:

“Buhari thinks he is a general but God says he is nothing. He hasn’t achieved anything in the sight of God. Buhari is deceiving the people and playing to the gallery”.

Mr. President, he has sent his message to you and to Nigeria and we have heard him loud and clear.

Yet most disturbing was not his sheer effrontery but the fact that the only thing that you had to offer the leaders and people of Borno state when you got there was a lame and self-debasing question which was “I wonder how Boko Haram still survives?”

You went further by blaming them for “not taking care of local security” forgetting that that is meant to be your job and not theirs.

In your so-called condolence visit you refused to take responsibility for your own inaction and failure and instead you sought to pass the buck to the very victims of terror that you claim to have come to mourn!

You refused to inspire and encourage them and instead you accused them of, at best, irresponsible behaviour and, at worst, collusion with the enemy.

This is not just a case of rubbing salt in their wounds but it is more like blowing them up and killing them all over again. Worse still as you spoke your Minister of Defence, who sat just a few feet away from you, fell fast asleep!

Mr. President I really do wonder whether you have any feeling or any compassion at all? Has the milk of human kindness stopped flowing through your veins?

Do you know that young students, women, infants and babies were amongst those that were blown up in the Auno atrocity?

Yes, you issued a statement immediately but you didn’t show up till three days later and your Vice, who was in the country the day it happened, never showed up at all and instead jetted out to President Arap Moi’s burial in Nairobi!

Kindly tell me what the Nigerian people have done to deserve this level of contempt? Or is there more to it than meets the eye?

Forgive me Mr. President but I am constrained to ask, why do you love terrorism, bloodshed and violence so much? Why do you find it so easy to forgive terrorists that are slaughtering your own people? Are you feeding your spiritual foundation and getting your power from the spilling of innocent blood?

Meanwhile your own Chief of Army Staff has told us today that:

“We have defeated insurgency but we are facing the challenge of terrorism. There is no-where you will not find Boko Haram, even in Lagos here, there are Boko Haram. In Kaduna there are Boko Haram. There are more across the North East. Many have been arrested here in Lagos. We have been tracking them. We arrest them and taken them into custody”.

I commend the Chief of Army Staff for his admission of failure but what he didn’t add was that after taking them “into custody” you ordered him to release them and even draft some of them into the Nigerian Army on the spurious grounds that they have repented and that they have been reformed.

Again the truth is that neither you or him ever “defeated insurgency” or anything else. Instead you encouraged and supported it! Both of you have failed the Nigerian people just as I predicted that you would and if you had any decency or honour you would BOTH resign.

Aside that it takes a very mean, callous, wicked and cruel President and Commander-in-Chief to release 1,400 terrorists who have murdered, butchered, slaughtered, tortured and maimed his soldiers and terrorised his people over the last 5 years.

Mr. President I am constrained to tell you that some believe that you are a sadist! They believe that your heart is as hard as stone and your soul is as black as night.

Relevant and instructive are the words of Mr. Charles Ogbu, a brilliant writer and essayist who has consistently proved that he is not only insightful but also deeply profound. Three days after the Auno bombing he wrote the following:

“Those who are asking for the sack of the Service Chiefs as a solution to the upsurge in Boko Haram terrorism are missing the point.

Nigeria is not currently being overrun by terrorists because we have a set of incompetent service Chiefs or soldiers who cannot fight the terrorists. Not at all. The only reason the Boko Haram terrorists are having a field day is because we have a President and a Commander in Chief who shares the same ideology as the terrorists and as a result prefers pandering to them as opposed to fighting them”.

He went further by writing,

“In fact a betting man would bet that the only difference between the Boko Haram terrorists killing, maiming and beheading Nigerians in the Northeast and our President and Commander-In-Chief is in their name and location. One is named “Boko Haram” and operates from the bush while the other one is named “Muhammadu Buhari” and operates from Aso Rock. If we were to remove the cloak of fear of detention by state oppressive forces, we would all admit they are both pursuing the same goal and doing a very good job of it. You that is reading this, you know this is exactly what is happening even if you may not want to publicly say it for whatever reason”.

He concluded by asking,

“Who ‘rehabilitates’ and releases captured terrorists back into the wild at a time the terrorists are still visiting death and destruction on his country? Even America with her sophisticated military doesn’t release arrested terrorists in the heat of the war because the chances of these terrorists going back into the wild to continue killing are very high”.

Mr. President, forgive me for saying so but the verdict is out and Mr. Ogbu has made a valid point. This calls for much soul-searching on your part.

I urge you to bear in mind that trading in the blood of your own people and indulging in all manner of barbarity, suppression of dissent, persecution of your perceived enemies and evil comes with a heavy price.

Every Pharaoh, Sennacherib, Herod, Jezebel and Nebuchadnezzar has a bad end.

Every tyrant, no matter how powerful and highly-placed, will eventually account to God and the people for his brutality and wickedness. Yours will be no different.

Anyone that doubts that should consider the plight of the Sudan’s former President, General Al Bashir. As the great black American Nation of Islam leader and one of my favourite heroes, Malcom X, once said “the chickens have finally come home to roost”. This has always been the case and it will always be the case. It is only a matter of time.

Over the last 5 years hundreds of thousands have died under your watch and virtually all have been killed by those from your core northern region. You turned a blind eye to it and even encouraged it.

Today belongs to you but let me assure you that tomorrow belongs to those of us that you have killed, persecuted, oppressed and treated with disdain and contempt.

On the 11th of February, at the burial ceremony of the 18 year old Christian martyr Nnandi Michael (the Seminarian that was abducted and later murdered by Fulani herdsmen) the respected Catholic cleric Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, a man of immense moral authority and intellectual vigour, courageously admonished you before the entire world, spoke the bitter truth and reflected the thoughts of millions from all over the country. Amongst many other things he said the following:

“This President has displayed the greatest degree of insensitivity in managing our country’s rich diversity.
He has subordinated the larger interests of the country to the hegemonic interests of his co-religionists and clansmen and women. The impression created now is that, to hold a key and strategic position in Nigeria today, it is more important to be a northern Muslim than a Nigerian.”

He did not stop there but went on to say,

“We are being told that this situation has nothing to do with Religion. Really? It is what happens when politicians use religion to extend the frontiers of their ambition and power. Are we to believe that simply because Boko Haram kills Muslims too, they wear no religious garb? Are we to deny the evidence before us, of kidnappers separating Muslims from infidels or compelling Christians to convert or die? If your son steals from me, do you solve the problem by saying he also steals from you?”

He then said,

“The Fulani, his (President Muhammadu Buhari) innocent kinsmen, have become the subject of opprobrium, ridicule, defamation, calumny and obloquy. His north has become one large grave yard, a valley of dry bones, the nastiest and the most brutish part of our dear country”.

He added,

“Today, our years of hypocrisy, duplicity, fabricated integrity, false piety, empty morality, fraud and Pharisaism have caught up with us. Nigeria is on the crossroads and its future hangs precariously in a balance. This is a wake-up call for us. As St. Paul reminds us; The night is far spent, and the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast away the works of darkness and put on the armour of light. It is time to confront and dispel the clouds of evil that hover over us.”

He concludes by saying,

“On our part, I believe that this is a defining moment for Christians and Christianity in Nigeria. We Christians must be honest enough to accept that we have taken so much for granted and made so much sacrifice in the name of nation building. We accepted President Buhari when he came with General Idiagbon, two Muslims and two northerners. We accepted Abiola and Kingibe, thinking that we had crossed the path of religion, but we were grossly mistaken. When Jonathan became President, and Senator David Mark remained Senate President while Patricia Ette was chosen by the South West became a Speaker. The Muslim members revolted and forced her resignation with lies and forgery. The same House would shamelessly say that they had no records of her indictment. Today, we are living with a Senate whose entire leadership is in the hands of Muslims. Christians have continued to support them. For how long shall we continue on this road with different ambitions? Christians must rise up and defend their faith with all the moral weapons they have”.

I assure you that these were not the words of Bishop Kukah alone but rather the Holy Spirit speaking through him. He spoke the mind and the oracles of the Living God and you would do well to humble yourself, take heed and appreciate the Lord’s admonition and counsel.

Let us hope that you disregard the advice of the hardliners around you, learn from these words and change your dastardly ways though I doubt that you will.

Whatever the case and whatever you choose to do or not to do, know this: the die is cast, Caesar has crossed the Rubicorn, the horse has bolted from the stable, the cat is out of the bag, our eyes have been opened, we have lost all sense of fear and Nigeria can NEVER be the same again.

Mr. President, here ends my counsel to you but permit me to conclude this contribution with a closer look at the north that you love so much and that you seek to empower and enthrone forever.

According to the World Bank “87% of poor people in Nigeria are in the North”.

One wonders what 58 years of northern oppression, tyranny, aggression, manipulation and hegemony over Nigeria has actually done for the northern masses.

Since Independence mass poverty, terrorism, religious bigotry, ethnic hegemony, Islamic fundamentalism, arrogance, born to rule syndrome, the worship of cows, ignorance, disease, hate, racism, feudalism, pedophilia, child marriage, VVF, gender inequality, male chauvinism, the persecution of Christians, the suppression of women, corruption, deceit, greed, ingratitude, a sense of entitlement, tyranny, insensitivity, bloodshed, genocide, ethnic cleansing, mass murder and gratuitous violence have all been deeply embedded in and associated with the core north.

Worse still, according to UNICEF, if Nigeria were to ever break up the core north would be the poorest spot on planet Earth.

I guess this is why northerners keep screaming “one Nigeria” and threatening the lives and liberty of those that do not share their view. Without Nigeria they would be groping in the dark, wobbling on their feet and literally starve to death.

All this yet they insist that they were “born to rule” and that southerners and Middle Belters were “born to serve” them and be their slaves!

Professor Yusuf Dankofa of the Faculty of Law at Ahmadu Bello University who happens to be a northerner himself put it in very clear terms and spoke the bitter truth when he wrote the following:

“I think the north is only interested in power and nothing more. The sweetness of power and the allure it brings is what appeals to them and not work. If not, how can a region be so decimated by its own internal contradictions and trudge on as if the region is not regressing. In the face of calamity, what you see is eerie silence, since power is with their elites who are thoroughly dependent on public treasury to survive. The poor too draws happiness from the fact that power is in the hands of their elites even if they will die of poverty and insurgency. We are happy that power is with us even though we don’t know what to do with it. This mindset will definitely lead others to seek to move out of the union. You can’t slow down your own progress and those of others and expect them to clap for you.”

Dankofa is absolutely right! What a people! What a country!

Yet I do not blame the core northeners: I blame southern and Middle Belt politicians and leaders who have refused to unite and who have failed to resist them and stand up to them over the last 58 years.

The history of our nation records that there were a few great men of remarkable courage, extraordinary fortitude and immense valour that not only did their best but were also gallant, fearless, selfless and outstanding in their quest to deliver our people.

Some of them were martyred and others were jailed whilst all suffered an unprecedented and unbearable level of humiliation and persecution. Yet despite it all they continued the struggle.

They identified and understood the problem and fought hard in their respective ways to fix it and deliver our people from northern hegemony, domination and bondage but sadly they all failed.

The new generation of southern and Middle Belt leaders must NOT fail because this is the final lap. For our generation failure is NOT an option.

We have no choice but to use all lawful and non-violent means to break the yoke of subjugation, servitude, slavery and bondage and to succeed in our quest for total liberation. If we fail to do so future generations of our people shall NEVER be free again.

We need the prayers of the saints and the fastings and supplications of the intercessors, the Prophets, the men and women of God and the Body of Christ!

We need the Holy Spirit of the Living God: the El Shaddai, the Elohim and the Adonai.

We need the Man of War, the Comforter, the Lord of Hosts and the Ancient of Days!

We need a great deliverer: a Moses, a Joshua, a Caleb, a David, a Cyrus, a Samson, a Gideon, a Jeptha, an Esther and a Jehu all rolled into one.

We need men and women of courage to pick up the gauntlet, take up the challenge and lead us in this great and cataclysmic battle and this monumental struggle.

We need to close ranks, build bridges amongst ourselves and forget past hurts, past disputes and past disagreements and agree to be totally and completely united.

Finally we need to look within ourselves and firmly resolve that it would be better to live a short life and die as free men than live a long one and live as slaves.

FFK and Buhari

We fight not for ourselves but for future generations of our family, our lineage, our loved ones and our compatriots.

God forbid that they should have to live through the hell that we had to suffer called Nigeria: a land where the accursed rule over the blessed and where slaves ride on horseback whilst Princes and Kings walk around in bare feet.

Don’t cause chaos – FFK warns FUNAM, Shege Ka Fasa and Amotekun

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to the establishment of the Nothern security outfit named ”Shege Ka Fasa”, warning the security outfit from attempting to cause chaos in the country.

Earlier this month, the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) had unveiled a security outfit code-named “SHEGE KA FASA”, which it said will address the security challenges in the northern region of the country. The decision was to emulate their colleagues in the South-West and South-East region in securing the lives of residents of their states.

According to Fani Kayode, the name ”Shege Ka Fasa” means ”Bastard, you stopped”. He warned that the security outfit and the Fulani Nationalist Movement (FUNAM) must not attack the citizens and indigenes of South-Western states.

He tweeted; ”The Northern security outfit called Shege Ka Fasa (means bastard, you stopped) & the Fulanist Nationalist Movement (FUNAM) must not target or attack the children of Oduduwa or else they will plunge Nigeria into a cauldron of fire which will leave her in ashes. BE WARNED!”

90% of Boko Haram’s attacks not on Muslims – FFK tackles Buhari

Critic and former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has branded President Muhammadu Buhari a liar for saying that 90 percent of Boko Haram’s victims are Muslim.

Buhari had on Tuesday said 90 per cent of all Boko Haram’s victims in the past years have been Muslims.

The president, in an article published in ‘Speaking Out,’ a guest opinion column for “Christianity Today”, said that the perception that members of the sect were always targeting Christians in Nigeria was not true.

“It is the reality that some 90 per cent of all Boko Haram’s victims have been Muslims,” Buhari said.

“They include a copycat abduction of over 100 Muslim schoolgirls, along with their single Christian classmate, shootings inside mosques; and the murder of two prominent imams.

“It is a simple fact that these now-failing terrorists have targeted the vulnerable, the religious, the non-religious, the young, and the old without discrimination, ” Buhari said.

Reacting to this development, Fani-Kayode said Buhari was lying about the matter as majority of communities being attacked were dominated by Christians.

“This is a lie.The overwhelming majority of communities that Boko Haram targets are Christian. The same with the Fulani militias.

“The killing of Christians in Nigeria is a common blood sport which shall continue as long as Buhari is President,” he stated.
