For those of you watching WWE WrestleMania, you may have noticed that AJ Styles had blood on the side of his face as he walked to the ring for his match with Edge.
The announcers did not say what caused the blood and they said that they would try to find out. Bryan Alvarez tweeted that the blood was caused by a “pyro incident” so apparently the pyro was set off too close to him.
This has happened before, most notably several years back during The Undertaker’s entrance. In his case, he was burned in the face as the pyro came out of the ring post.
UPDATE: Fans in attendance say that it looks like Styles hit his face on the star just before he walked out on the stage. It was not the pyro.
